Who you are buying from

We are not Tesla

VOLTA is an independent shop. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Tesla, Inc. Model names are used only to say which cars a part fits. Buying a part here does not involve Tesla in any way, and fitting a non-original part may affect your vehicle warranty — check with Tesla if that matters to you.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm the order has shipped, not when you pay. If a part turns out to be out of stock, or a price was listed wrongly, we may decline the order and refund you in full — we will not silently substitute something else.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars and include no taxes or duties unless the checkout says so. Import duty and local tax on international orders are yours to pay, and they are not included in what you see at checkout. The price charged is the price shown at checkout at the moment you pay.

Delivery

Shipping is free on orders over $150 and a flat $12 below that, tracked, typically 2 to 5 business days within the US. Those are estimates from the courier, not promises. Risk passes to you on delivery. Full detail on the shipping page.

Fitment

Every part lists the models and years it fits, and the garage feature checks that for you before you add anything to the cart. If a part does not fit the car you told us you have, return shipping is on us — see returns. If you order a part for a car other than the one in your garage, ordinary return terms apply.

Returns

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, provided the part is uninstalled and in its original packaging. Consumer law where you live may give you more than that, and nothing here reduces it. Full detail on the returns page.

Warranty

Each part carries the warranty stated on its page — between one and three years depending on the item. A warranty covers manufacturing and material defects. It does not cover wear, damage from an accident, corrosion from road salt, incorrect fitting, or track use where the part is not sold for it.

Fitting

These parts are sold for you or your fitter to install. We give install guidance in good faith, but we are not there and cannot supervise it. Anything that depends on being torqued correctly — wheels and brakes above all — should be fitted by someone competent, and brake parts need bedding in before hard use. We are not liable for loss caused by incorrect fitting.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.

Consumer protection law where you live may give you rights this clause cannot take away. Where it does, that law wins and nothing here changes it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
